COMMUNITY GARDEN INFO:
The community garden is operated by a group of local people who just enjoy growing their own food, spending time outside, learning from each other’s gardening knowledge, and having fun.
The garden does not have assigned plots; instead we all work together and share the output of the garden equally. The Community Garden meets regularly and has organized work parties, but of course people a welcome to work on their own as well.
 
An annual garden membership costs $30 (must be an MCA member) and is open to all MCA members. No gardening experience necessary!
The garden is located at the corner of 48th Street and Montalban Ave NW, next to the playground.  For more information contact the community centre .
